DISCOVERY MYANMAR (19 Days 18 Nights)

Day (1) YANGON ARRIVAL

  • Arrival Yangon by international flight.
  • Meet and assistance with our English speaking experience guide on your arrival and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
  • Free relax and leisure at hotel.
  • Then start sightseeing tour to Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha Image which is 72 meter long.
  • After visit Chaukhtatgyi, drive to downtown to visit Sule Pagoda which is an excellent landmark  and the heart of Yangon.
  • Near Sule Pagoda, start visit to Colonial style buildings to take photos and proceed to Botahtuang Pagoda, is a famous Land-mark on Yangon's waterfront.
  • Evening visit Shwedagon Pagoda,it is one of the world’s most spectacular religious monuments dating back over 2600 years old.

Day (2) YANGON - MANDALAY (BY AM FLIGHT) & AMARAPURA SIGHTSEEING

  • After breakfast at hotel, check out from hotel and transfer to Yangon airport for domestic flight to Mandalay, the last dynasty of Myanmar Kingdom in ancient time.
  • On arrival Mandalay, drive straight to Amarapura for visiting at Mahagandaryone Monastery which is the best place to experience about monk life. Then walk over U-bein Wooden Bridge.
  • Then visit to observe silk weaving cottages industry.
  • Drive back to Mandalay and visit Mahamuni Golden Buddha Image, covered with so much gold leaf that its body has lost all proportions, then visit to see bronze casting and marble stone cutting craftsmen work sites and gold leaf beaters.
  • Overnight at Hotel in Mandalay.

Day (3) MANDALAY - MINGUN - MANDALAY (BY BOAT)

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Drive straight to jetty for taking a boat trip about one hour cruise to Mingun, located on the western bank of the Ayeyarwady River.
  • Arrive Mingun, visit huge unfinished Mingun Pagoda.
  • Then visit world’s largest working bell of 3.7 meters high and weighing 90 tons cast.
  • Proceed to Mya Thein Tan pagoda.
  • Back to Mandalay and visit Kyautawgyi pagoda and Atumashi monastery.
  • Visit Ku Tho Daw Pagoda also known as world's largest book.
  • Proceed to Shwe Nan Daw Kyaung (Golden Palace Monastery).
  • Sunset at the panoramic view of Mandalay Hill.
  • Overnight at Hotel in Mandalay.

Day (4) MANDALAY - PYIN OO LWIN - HSIPAW

  • After breakfast at hotel, drive straight to Pyin Oo Lwin, about 42 miles to the north-east of Mandalay, over 4000 feet above the sea level.
  • On Arrivel Pyin Oo Lwin and visit local market.
  • Then drive straight to Hsipaw for about 45 minutes.
  • Arrive Hsipaw, visit Bawgyo Pagoda, a typically Shan style Paya from the 14th
  • Visit Sawbwa's residence built during colonial time, Shan shoulder bag factory
  • Look around beauty of town & river at Thain Taung Paya.
  • Overnight at hotel in Hsipaw.

Day (5) HSIPAW TREKKING

 

  • After breakfast at hotel, our trekking will start in the misty morning rush a few minutes to the bank of Doathtawaddy river, one of the most beautiful and unspoiled rivers.
  • Take up-stream boat trip for 1 hour to our trekking point and start our trekking to a Shan monastery. You will see a monastic school, monastic education and monastic life. Some minorities of the monks are dwelling among the vegetables fields and forest.
  • Then back to our boat and begin the next breath taking trek to a village namely Sein Lone Shan Village
  • Stop for lunch over there and enjoy with traditional Shan soup and fresh fruits.
  • Afternoon, start a scenic trek in the paddy and some vegetable fields to a shady waterfall after going back to Hsibaw first.
  • Enjoy view of the sunset on the way before we go back to hotel.
  • Then back to hotel, overnight at hotel in Hsibaw.

Day (6) HSIPAW - NAUNG CHO (BY TRAIN) - PYIN OO LWIN

  • After breakfast at hotel, transfer to railway station.
  • Catch the train which leaves around 09:00am to pass over Gokhteik Bridge.
  • Gokhteik lies on the railway route from Lashio to Mandalay.
  • Get off from train at Naung Cho station. Drive to Pyin Oo Lwin (by car). On the way visitors can see beautiful landscaping and coffee plantation fields.
  • Visit Peik Chin Myaung Cave, 24 km from the town.  
  • Overnight at hotel in Pwin Oo Lwin.

Day (7) PYIN OO LWIN SIGHTSEEING

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Visit National Kandawgyi Gardens, botanical gardens founded in 1915.
  • Then visit Pwe Kauk (Ani-sakan) Waterfalls.
  • Proceed to National Land Mark and Chinese Temple with ornate stucco dragons, rock gardens and landscape ponds.
  • Overnight at hotel in Pwin Oo Lwin.

Day (8) PYIN OO LWIN - MANDALAY

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Visit market place, where you can see several stores in the area around the market selling fruits produced around Pyin Oo Lwin, strawberries, grapes, pineapples and local arts and crafts.
  • Back to Mandalay and visit Mandalay Royal Palace, built of teak wood
  • Then transfer to hotel for check in.
  • Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day (9) MANDALAY - BAGAN (BY BOAT)

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Check out from hotel and transfer to jetty for embarking to Express Boat sailing down to Bagan which is a popular waterway.
  • It will take about- 9 hours journey to reach Bagan depending upon water level.
  • On the way to Bagan, you can enjoy on seeing the lifestyle of local people to live on the river and pagoda scene.
  • On Arrivel Bagan transfer to hotel.

                     Bagan is situated on the east bank of the Ayerwaddy River, the historical, cultural and archeological heritage site with its largest area of Buddhist temples and pagodas ruins of an ancient city, dating back to the 11th Century.

Day (10) BAGAN SIGHTSEEING

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Start sightseeing tour with Nyaung Oo local market.
  • Then visit Shwezigon Pagoda, the prototype of later Myanmar stupas
  • Kyansithar Umin, long dimly lit corridors decorated with frescoes.
  • Htilominlo Temple, with fine plaster carvings, glazed sandstone decorations in the base. 
  • Ananda Temple one of the most famous masterpiece architectural works in Bagan.  Visit Thatbyinnyu Temple, the tallest in Bagan .
  • Proceed to Myinkaba Gu Byauk Gyi Temple (under the protection of UNESCO), noted for its ancient mural paintings.
  • Visit Manuha Temple and Myinkaba lacquerware village to see the manufacturing process.
  • View the sunset at Shwesandaw Pagoda.
  • Back to hotel.
  • Overnight at hotel in Bagan.

Day (11) BAGAN SIGHTSEEING & PM LEISURE

  • After breakfast at hotel, start sightseeing to visit Min Nan Thu village and Paya Thonzu worth for seeing its 13th century mural painting.
  • Dhammayazika Pagoda, pentagonal shape, which looks lovely similar to Shwezigon, also could have lovely views from its highest terrace.
  • Proceed to Dhamayangyi Temple, a massive temple famous with its perfect fine brickworks. Sulamani Temple a beautiful majestic structure.
  • Afternoon back to hotel.

Day (12) BAGAN - HEHO (BY AM FLIGHT) & INLE LAKE SIGHTSEEING

  • After breakfast at hotel, check out from hotel and transfer to Mandalay airport for flight to Heho.
  • Arrive Heho, Agreeable climate 800 meter high.
  • Drive straight to Nyaung Shwe, before entering Nyaung Shwe on the way stop for visiting Shwe Yan Pyay old monastery and pagoda.
  • Arrive Nyaung Shwe on the edge of Inle Lake and board your own local boat to take you to your hotel.
  • Start sightseeing by boat on picturesque Inle Lake we look for the famous leg rowers, the typical floating garden.
  • During the boat trip you will have to visit the floating market places, floating villages and gardens, cheroot workshops, silk weaving industries and some factories.
  • Overnight at Hotel in Inle Lake.

Day (13) INLE LAKE 5 DAYS MARKET SIGHTSEEING

  •  Breakfast at hotel.
  • Start sightseeing to Five Day Market is unique place and naturally brings pleasure to many shoppers from near and far.
  • The markets are rotating among the villages in regular order - one village becomes the host of the market every 5th 
  • Afternoon: visit the famous Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda .
  • Overnight at Hotel in Inle Lake.

Day (14) INLE - HEHO - YANGON (BY AM FLIGHT) & BAGO - GOLDEN ROCK

  •  After breakfast at hotel, check out from the hotel & transfer to Heho airport for domestic flight to Yangon.
  • Arrive Yangon and drive to Golden Rock via Bago (drive about 2 hours).
  • Bago is an ancient capital of Mon Kingdom of 13th to 16th centuries.
  • On the way we stop at pot making cottages to see their manufacturing process and their ways of life.
  • Before entering Bago visit Kyaikpun, four sided huge Buddha images sitting in back-to-back position.
  • Visit Kanbawzathadi palace of King Bayintnaung is just south of Shwemawdaw.
  • Proceed to Shwe Maw Daw Paogda built around 1000 years ago.
  • Then visit Shwethalyaung (a huge reclining Buddha image).
  • Then enjoy trip to Golden Rock (drive about 2 hours).
  • Overnight at hotel in Golden Rock.

Day (15) GOLDEN ROCK - HPA AN SIGHTSEEING

  •  Breakfast at hotel.
  • After breakfast, take an open truck at Kinpun Base Camp for driving up to middle camp (drive about 1 hour) and from there walk about 45 minutes to Golden Rock pagoda platform, believed to enshrine a hair relic of Buddha.
  • Visit around the pagoda platform and surroundings, market place and other interesting sites.
  • Walk back to middle camp; take an open truck again for drive back to Kinpun base camp.
  • Afternoon, proceed to Hpa- An capital of Kayin state.
  • On Arrival Hpa-An make a stop to take photo at Mt.Zwegabin and Lumpani Park where contains 1000 Buddha statues seated under Banyan tree.
  • Overnight at hotel in Hpa- An.

Day(16) HPA AN - MAWLAMYAING SIGHTSEEING

  •  Breakfast at hotel.
  • Visit Kyauk Kalat wetland which is standing in the middle of a small lake.
  • Proceed to Kaw Goon Cave, an invaluable cultural heritage questionably dates back to 7-AD.
  • Visit Ba Yin Nyi Cave with numerous images and wall-curving.
  • Then drive to Mawlamyaing 60 km away from Hpa- An (approx_1 hour), on the way visit scenic river-side Shwe Yin Myaw Pagoda, Kayone Cave, KawkathaungCave etc.
  • On Arrival Mawlamyaing , hotel check-in.
  • Overnight at hotel in Mawlamyaing.

Day (17) MAWLAMYAING SIGHTSEEING

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Visit to Market place.
  • Continue to SEINDONE MIBAYA KYAUNG (Queen Sein Tone’s Monastry ) a place to observe Myanmar arts & crafts.
  • After proceed to Kyaikmaraw and visit Kyaikmaraw huge Buddha image in sitting position with the legs hanging down as if sitting on a chair. View sunset from Kyaikthanlan pagoda, the city’s tallest and most visible pagoda.
  • Overnight at hotel in Mawlamyaing.

Day (18) MAWLAMYAING - YANGON

 

  • After breakfast at hotel, visit to Win Sein Medation Center, famous for its huge reclining Buddha Image, more than 182.9 m long.

  • Then, drive to the Yangon 160 km away from Mawlamyaing.
  • On the way to Yangon, there will be many stops for making photo upon your needs. The green paddy field, farm works and there might be seen the buffalo boys.
  • Visit Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market) closed on Monday and gazette holidays, gives you the opportunity to see Myanmar's wide range of handicrafts.
  • Visit china town and night market.
  • Then back to hotel.
  • Overnight at hotel in Yangon.

Yangon Departure

  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Free relax and leisure till departure.
  • Transfer to Yangon airport to board the international flight.
